Reduce plastic waste
The plastic waste menace is something that is gripping the world today. It is increasingly important to find possible solutions to this mounting problem; either by way of recycling plastics or finding alternate uses of plastics or reforming products.
At Asian Paints, one of the new steps we are taking in this direction is to collect back the plastic pails of our paint after the paint has been consumed. By doing this, we wish to contribute towards reducing plastic waste and exploring ways to put it to better use.

What will we do with the returned packs?
For every pack that you return, the recycle rates are as below:

| 1 litre, 2 kg | ₹ 5 |
| 4 litre, 5 kg | ₹ 15 |
| 10 litre, 10 kg | ₹ 30 |
| 20 litre, 20 kg | ₹ 60 |
The payment will be done to you via PayTM within 48 hours of you returning the pack via PayTM by our recycling partner vendor.
We plan to recycle them with our partners to make utility plastics like chairs, benches, dustbins, etc which will be donated to various sections of societies through our CSR team and NGO tie ups or simply reuse the recycled plastic in manufacturing some of our own new paint cans thus reducing our plastic waste.
Kindly Note :
- The paint pails must be cleaned of any paint residue while returning; else cannot be accepted.
- Asian Paints holds the right to refuse collection/ payment if pail does not adhere to above cleaned condition or is damaged.
- The payment will be done via PAYTM only.
- The payment will be done by Asian Paints partner Gravitas within 48 hours of pail being returned.
- The pails can be returned on Monday – Friday between 10 am to 5.30pm
